Derek Chen,graduated from Central Academy of Art and Design.now live in Beijing.With over 10 years'experience in the fields of visual,interior and product design,he established his studio in 2009 and made cooperation with domestic first-line brands to carry on the systematic product R&D.In the spring of 2010.his own brand Maxmarko was founded.then he gained EDIDA(EllE Decoration International Design Awards)gold medals on Shanghai International Furniture Fair,and more honors at home and abroad.His works was invited continuously to Europe,the United States and so many high-level exhibitions.He believes that seeking the law the things going with and then refining it into a transcendental classic spirit above our popular view,is the principle for design.

Maxmarko was originally established as a furniture development center by designer Derek Chen,aiming to explore and create truly unique and inspiring contemporary Chinese design through this platform.After many years of cooperation with domestic and foreign furniture brands in design,Derek decided to promote this exploration to a new stage:In the spring of 2010,Maxmarko was officially established in Beijing as a furniture brand.Maxmarko aims to leave a mark on this era,and at the same time,it offers a timeless experience of contemporary life.

Linglong but not Linglong; it has the essence of delicacy, yet lacks the delicate form. This work is an extension of CHEN Darui's X Series in 2018, magnifying the most crucial metal component of the X Series by 12.5 times, crafted using transparent resin casting techniques. The X Series is born from concepts, combining digitization, industrialization, and localization. It represents a fresh exploration of potential contemporary art creation methods in the future. The X Series is characterized by connections, continuously intertwining with the subjective perceptions of the author at different periods, giving rise to endless forms of expression.
