Chen Haoru is an architect and professor of CAA. He received his education and training in New York and later returned to his native city of Hangzhou. He is the principal architect in his studio and has worked in various disciplines of design.

Collaborative craftsman: Master Ding
A pair of projects of contrasting scales. Bamboo trees are typically presented in a forest scene. This tensile structure is composed of fresh bamboo in order to depict a true bamboo forest. The forest sways back and forth and the sounds of a bamboo flute can be heard in the wind. This work is intended to be expanded into a group of variations on the trees.
