Zhang Junjie: 
The founder of SOZEN design studio, who is a lecturer and a PhD candidate at China academy of art，the major areas of his research are cultural value and product semantics. Zhang has won more than 10 national and international awards. 
Chen Ruhan: 
Who is the coin designer of SOZEN design studio and the major area of her research is cultural innovation. Chen was honored with Outstanding graduates in Zhengjiang province. Her graduation design won the golden award of CAA and joined in the ‘Design.East’ exhibition in Milano. Chen’s work was also taken part in both 9th and 10th Hangzhou cultural and creative industry expo.

Materials: stainless steel, soft leather

The SPASO-W series are inspired by Chinese traditional multilayer bamboo weaving. Our designers are exploring the double weaving technique on a basis of hexagonal weaving. By using leather cloak in combination with a stainless steel structure we are aiming to bring a new experience to users in terms of visual and tactile sense. Furthermore, adding a wider color range to the weaving, the series of seatings interacts harmoniously contemporary with the traditional approach.
