Yu Fen Lo is a designer from Taiwan with more than 10 years of experience in 3C product design and has won many international awards. In 2008, she devoted herself to the industry of culture and creativity. In 2010, she founded Pinyen Creative Inc., promoting the “rise of traditional industry” with the aim of taking traditional Chinese culture and bringing it to the international stage. Due to her incredible passion and design abilities, she was awarded “Rising Asian Talent” at the Maison & Objet Asia Exhibition in 2014.

Pinyen Creative continues to discover the traditional crafts throughout the years. “Forest ELF” is inspired by the traditional bamboo crafts, commonly applied to conventional bamboo chairs. The work presents a vivid look to the biological and natural qualities of the material. Produce these works with mental and laser cutting. Hoping to present a vivid look of the biological in natural by the crafts and material of works. The piece is produced by laser and metal cutting, it aims to display the exciting contrast between the traditional approach and the unconventional process.
