Casting is the confinement of one material to another, resulting in a clear material boundary. Fusion·Casting aims to merge and blur this boundary.
The internal combustion engine symbolizes humanity's ambition to control the world. The important performance component of the combustion engine is selected in the factory: the crankshaft. To cast the crankshaft module, porcelain clay is mixed with a large amount of seeds. A wall is built in the greenhouse as a source of strength and life. After a period of greenhouse cultivation, the seeds gradually change from “crankshaft” to “crankshaft”. It sprouts, grows and spreads inside and outside the crankshaft, gradually breaking the industrial boundaries on the surface of the crankshaft, allowing natural forces to merge with industrial forms. then the plants grown from them are used as “small molds” that are “cast” with white porcelain mud and are left permanently preserved. Imprint of plant growth.
