Casting as assembling does not lead to a specific product or component, but a concept focused on construction. The formal freedom offered by casting often result in formwork expression or sculptural quality. In the concept of casting as assembling, we hope that casting is an indispensable step in completing construction. Inspired by the lost wax casting method, we carve the internal structure out of wax and cast around it with concrete. After removing the wax, the interior of the concrete component forms a structural space. After accurately positioning different components, the one-time casting of metal completes the construction process. The casted structure is invisible but the integrity of the object makes visitors think.
